The largest LinkedIn event in Slovenia impressed with content and experts

In early December, the Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel in Ljubljana hosted the largest LinkedIn event in Slovenia, organized by the Mighty Krulz agency. The two-day event combined a conference with in-depth workshops, where both local and international experts shared their knowledge, insights, and practical strategies. The event provided an opportunity for nearly 100 participants from various industries to expand their understanding of LinkedIn as a platform for building personal and corporate visibility.

The Power of Personal and Corporate Stories on LinkedIn

The event was opened by Tina Cipot, partner and CEO of o28, who emphasized that a brand goes beyond just a logo – it is built on stories, values, and the people the company represents. "People do not trust logos; they trust faces and stories," Tina stressed. She described LinkedIn as a tool for humanizing a company, capable of enhancing reputation and trust through authentic content. She illustrated how employee activity on the network contributes to greater visibility and credibility for a company, and advised businesses to share stories about their culture, values, and successes.

SEO and LinkedIn: A Winning Combination for Visibility

Barbara Slade Jagodić, an expert in SEO and LinkedIn content, revealed how companies can combine the advantages of SEO and LinkedIn to achieve greater online visibility. She emphasized that LinkedIn is highly ranked in search engines, enabling smaller companies with limited budgets to build a presence and reach their target audience. She advised using LinkedIn articles as a content creation platform, especially for companies facing restrictions on publishing articles on their own websites. "SEO is a long-term investment that ensures a stable position, while LinkedIn requires constant activity to maintain visibility," she explained.

How to Achieve One Million Euros in Sales Using LinkedIn

In the absence of Zlatan Ljubijankić, who was unfortunately away on business, Luka Srbič presented an inspiring yet strategic story on how the company BeLife generated one million euros in sales through LinkedIn. He demonstrated how targeted networking and consistent follow-ups lead to impressive sales results. "LinkedIn is not just a network; it’s a platform for building trust," he emphasized, highlighting the importance of targeted messaging/follow-ups and strategic posts in securing business opportunities. "80% of sales require at least five follow-up contacts – persistence is the key to success," he stressed, with this strategy proving to be exceptionally effective for them. His presentation was full of practical advice on building trust and achieving remarkable results, even in traditional industries.

Writing Without AI Tools: The Art of Authenticity

Jasmin Alić, one of the leading voices on LinkedIn, captivated the audience with a talk about authentic content that is not generated by artificial intelligence. "Don’t write to reach millions. Write as if your reader is worth a million people," he said. Jasmin warned the audience that LinkedIn algorithms recognize artificial phrases written with the help of AI tools and do not consider them authentic content, and he demonstrated how genuine relationships and trustworthy comments build long-term connections.

Personal Branding: The Key to Thought Leadership

Sam G. Winsbury presented to the audience how to become a thought leader and build a personal brand that opens doors to new opportunities. With practical steps for positioning, strategy, and profile optimization, he emphasized that the key to success on LinkedIn is to become an authority in your niche, rather than trying to please everyone. "LinkedIn is a space for strategic positioning where we can build our professional reputation," Sam explained.

Bold Communication in a Traditional Industry

Andrej Krajner (NLB) and Jure Bračko (OTP Banka) shared behind-the-scenes insights from their bold campaign that transcended the limits of traditional banking. With their creative approach – featuring a mobile ATM and a crane for a "clearer view of the competition" – they demonstrated how traditional industries can achieve excellent results with humor and audacity. "The campaign succeeded because of the professional and personal approach, trust, and respect," they emphasized, which is key in their competitive environment.

A Glimpse into the Future and In-Depth Workshops

The conclusion of the first day was marked by a roundtable discussion with Jasmin and Sam, where they discussed current topics such as the impact of artificial intelligence, the importance of video content, and the future of the platform. On the following day, each led an in-depth workshop, during which participants gained valuable insights and knowledge through practical examples to improve their content and positioning.

The event exceeded expectations and confirmed that LinkedIn is a key platform for building both personal and corporate brands, regardless of the industry. Participants particularly highlighted the top-notch program and organization, the quality of the speakers, and the practical value of the knowledge acquired. Although Lara Acosta was unable to join us due to illness, we are already planning her attendance at the next event.
